ஜூன் 12. ‘தசாவதாரம்’ ரிலீசுக்கு ஒரு நாள் முன்தினம். வழக்கொன்று வந்தது உச்ச நீதிமன்றத்தில். வழக்கம்போல் தள்ளி வைக்கவில்லை. காரணம், வழக்காடியவர்கள் புறப்பட்ட இடம் அப்படி. விடுமுறையென்றாலும் வீட்டிலிருந்தேனும் விசாரித்தாக வேண்டும்! விசாரித்தார்கள்.

Kamal “முதலில் படத்தைப் பாருங்கள். பிறகு போடுங்கள் வழக்கை” என்றார்கள். ‘நாங்கள் இருக்கிறோம்’ என்று ரகசிய ஜாடை காட்டி, தைரியமூட்டி சென்னைக்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தார்கள். படம் வந்து வாரம் நான்காகி விட்டது. வழக்கையும் காணோம், ஒரு புண்ணாக்கையும் காணோம். என்னாச்சு? 12 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் சைவர்களுக்கும், வைணவர்களுக்கும் நடந்த பங்காளிச் சண்டையைச் சொல்லி இந்துக்களின் மானத்தைக் கூண்டிலேற்றுகிறார் கமல் என்ற குற்றச்சாட்டில் துளியும் உண்மையில்லை என அறிந்து, வருந்தி ஜகா வாங்கி விட்டார்களா? ‘இருக்கலாம்’ என்பவர்கள் அப்பாவிகள்.

சுஜாதா செத்துப்பூட்டாரு, பாலச்சந்தருக்கு வயசாயிடுச்சு, மணிரத்னத்துக்கோ முடியல. கொஞ்சம் வெவரஞ் தெரிஞ்சவாளா இருக்குற இவரையும் பகைச்சுக்கிட்டா கோடம்பாக்கத்துல நமக்கு ஆளில்லாமப் போயிடுமேங்கிற கரிசனையால அடக்கி வாசிக்கிறாங்களோ....? அப்படியும் இருக்கலாமென்பவர்கள் உண்மையின் ஒரு பக்கத்தை மட்டுமே பார்க்கிறார்கள். இப்படி யோசித்துப் பார்க்கலாம்.

ஓடாத படத்தைத் தடை செய்து ஓடவைக்க சில தயாரிப்பாளர்களே பினாமிகளின் பெயரில் கோர்ட்டுக்குப் போவார்கள். ஆஸ்கார் ரவிச்சந்திர அய்யரின் பினாமியாக இராம. கோபாலய்யர் ஏனிருக்கக்கூடாது? போஸ்டரில் பெயர் இல்லாவிட்டாலென்ன? ‘சைலன்ட் பார்ட்னராக’ இருக்கலாமில்லையா?

வரலாற்று ஆதாரங்களை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட கற்பனைக் கதை எனும் அறிவிப்புடன் படம் ஆரம்பிக்கிறது. இந்த அறிவிப்பு மட்டும் போதுமா? வரலாறு எங்கே முடிகிறது, கற்பனை எங்கே தொடங்குகிறது என்று சொல்ல வேண்டாமா? இரண்டாம் குலோத்துங்கன், ரங்கராஜன் நம்பி சைவ - வைணவ யுத்தம், ‘ஓம் நமோ நாராயண நமஹ...’ இவையெல்லாம்தான் வரலாறு என்று ஒரு கூட்டம் நம்பிப் படம் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்க, மல்லிகா ஷெராவத், பிளெட்சர், கிளப் டான்ஸ் சமாச்சாரங்கள்தான் வரலாறு, மற்றதெல்லாம் கப்ஸா என்று இன்னொரு கூட்டம் குழம்பி விடக்கூடாதே!

ஒரு படைப்பாளனின் நேர்மை அவன் சொன்ன செய்தியில் மட்டுமல்ல, சொல்லாமல் விட்ட சங்கதிகளிலும் இருக்கிறது. பம்பாயில் இந்து - முஸ்லீம் கலவரத்தைச் சொன்ன படைப்பாளி மணிரத்னம், கலவரத்துக்குக் காரணமான பாபர் மசூதி இடிப்பைத் திட்டமிட்டே மறைத்ததுபோல்... ‘ஜென்டில்மேன்’ முதல் ‘சிவாஜி’ வரை கல்வி வியாபாரமாகி விட்டது என புலம்பும் ஷங்கர் கூட்டணி, அது தனியார்மய - தாராளமய தாசர்களால் நேர்ந்தது என்பதைச் சொல்ல மறுப்பது போல்... கிருமி யுத்தத்தின் பூர்வ ஜென்மத் தொடர்பை ஜப்பானின் ஹிரோஷிமா - நாகசாகியில் தேடுவதற்குப் பதில் கையில் கிடைத்த புராணக் குப்பைகளில் அலசியிருக்கிறார் கமல்.

கடலில் தூக்கிப் போடப்பட்ட பெருமாள் சிலையை மீண்டும் கரைக்குக் கொண்டு வரவே சுனாமி வந்ததாம். அதாவது இயற்கைச் சீற்றத்தை புராணத்துடன் முடிச்சுப் போடுகிறார். ஜெயேந்திரனைக் கைது செய்ததால்தான் சுனாமி வந்தது என சங்கர மடத் துதிபாடிகள் அப்போது சொன்னதை இந்த இடத்தில் பொருத்திப் பார்த்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். முன்னதற்கு வயிற்றெரிச்சல் காரணம். பின்னவருக்கு? பார்ப்பனிய விஷமத்தனமே காரணம்.

ஆன்மீக முட்டாள் ரஜினியை விட, அரைகுறை அறிவாளி கமல் உண்மையில் ரொம்ப... ஆபத்தானவர். தசாவதாரத்தைக் கிழிகிழியெனக் கிழிக்கும் விமர்சகர்களில் சிலரும் கொண்டாடும் புரட்சிப் படம் ஹேராம். ஹேராமின் நாயகன் யார்? காந்தியைக் கொன்றவன். கொல்வதை மட்டும் நோக்கமாகக் கொள்ளாமல் - அதன் வழி இந்தத் தேசத்தின் ஒட்டுமொத்த முசுலீம்களையும் கருவறுக்க வசதியாக தன்னுடைய பெயரை ஒரு முசுலீம் பெயராக்கிக் கொண்ட ஒரு ஆர்.எஸ்.எஸ். கிரிமினல். அவன் பெயர் கோட்சே. அந்தக் கோட்சேவைத்தான் நாயகனாக்கினார் கமலஹாசன். அதுசரி, ஒரு கிரிமினலை கதாபாத்திரமாக்கும் உரிமை ஒரு படைப்பாளிக்கில்லையா? இருக்கிறது. ஆனால், இது வெறும் படைப்பாளியின் உரிமை பற்றிய விசயமில்லையே. அந்தக் கதையை எந்தப் பாத்திரத்தின் வழியாக அந்தப் படைப்பாளி முன்வைக்கிறார் என்பதே கேள்வி.

வேலு நாயக்கர் என்ற ரௌடியாக, பொம்பளைப் பொறுக்கியாக, மோசமான மனநோயாளியாக வந்தபோதெல்லாம் அவரின் வக்கிரங்களைக் கண்டு ரசிகர்கள் கண்களைப் பொத்திக் கொள்ளவில்லை. மாறாக கைதட்டி ரசித்தார்கள். பாத்திரத்தின் தன்மையோடு ஒன்றிப் போனார்கள். ‘சூப்பர் ஸ்டார்’ இமேஜ் உள்ள நடிகன் ஏற்கும் எந்தப் பாத்திரமும் ரசிகரிடம் அப்படித்தான் போய்ச் சேரும். கோட்சேவும் அப்படித்தான் போய் சேர்ந்திருக்கக்கூடும். ஒருவகையில் கோட்சே தரப்பு ‘நியாயங்களை’ ஹேராம் வழியாக ரசிகர்களிடம் கொண்டு சென்றார் கமல்.

சிவசேனாவும், வி.எச்.பி.யும் அரசியல் தளத்தில் செய்யும் பணியை கலைத்துறையில் செய்திருக்கிறார் இந்தக் கலைஞானி. செய்ய வேண்டிய வேலையை சரியாகச் செய்திருக்கிறேனா என்று ‘பம்பாய்’ படத்தின்போது பால்தாக்கரேவின் காலில் விழுந்து கேட்டார் மருமகன் மணிரத்னம். புஷ்ஷின் அங்கீகாரத்திற்காக அலைந்து திரிந்தார் மாமா கமலஹாசன். நல்ல கலைக்குடும்பம்.

அறுபது லட்சம் யூதர்களைக் கொன்ற ஹிட்லரின் நாஜிக் கொடூரத்தைப் பதிவு செய்யும் ஒரு எழுத்தாளன் அடுத்த வரியில் ‘குழந்தைகளென்றால் ஹிட்லருக்குக் கொள்ளைப் பிரியம்’ என்று ஒரு பாராட்டையும் சேர்த்து எழுத முடியுமா? படம் சொல்லும் அரசியலை ஒரு ஓரம் தள்ளி வைத்துவிட்டு, ஒரு நடிகனாக கமலின் பன்முக ஆற்றலைப் பார்க்க நம் கழுத்தைப் பிடித்து திருப்புகிறார்களே.... சிலர்! அவர்கள் முடியுமென்று சொல்கிறார்கள்.

‘கடைந்தெடுத்த கிரிமினல்’ என்று உலகமே காறி உமிழ்கிறது ஜார்ஜ் புஷ் முகத்தில். ‘உலக நாயகனே வா... வா...’ என்று கும்மியடித்துக் குலவையிடுகிறார் கமலஹாசன். ஒரு மோசமான அரசியலை முன்னெடுக்கும் படைப்பில் நல்ல விசயங்களைத் தேடி பூதக் கண்ணாடியோடு கிளம்புபவன் நல்ல விமர்சகன் அல்ல. அந்த ஆளோட ரசிகர் மன்றத் தலைவன். தந்தை பெரியார் சொன்னதுபோல் இது பீயில் அரிசி பொறுக்கும் வேலை. சரி, ஒரு வாதத்துக்கு இவர்களிடம் மேலோங்கும் நடிப்பு ரசனையை அங்கீகரித்து ஒரு கேள்வி கேட்கலாம். முண்டாசு கட்டாத பாரதி... உடைவாளும், உறுமலும் இல்லாத ஒரு கட்டபொம்மன்... கோட்டும், சூட்டும், சவடாலும் தொலைத்த ஜார்ஜ் புஷ்... படுக்கையறையிலோ, கக்கூசுக்குள்ளோ... அனேகமாக அவர்கள் அப்படித்தான் இருந்திருப்பார்கள். ஒரேயொரு காட்சியில் அடையாளப்படுத்திவிட முடியுமா அவர்களை... எந்த ஒப்பனையாளரின் துணையுமின்றி? நடிகர் திலகத்துக்கே நிச்சயம் நாக்கு தள்ளி போகும். கலைஞானி என்ன... வெங்காயம்!

பின்னிணைப்பு அல்ல சாட்டை:

கண்டங்கள் பல தாண்டி, பல தில்லாலங்கடி வேலையெல்லாம் செய்த கோவிந்த ராமசாமி ஒரு பெண்ணிடமிருந்து தம்மாத்துண்டு டப்பியை பிடுங்க இத்தனை பாடா?

அந்தப் பெண் ஒரு அக்ரகாரத்து மாமி என்பதைக் கணக்கில் கொண்டால் கலைஞானியின் ‘நூல்’ அரசியல் புலப்படும். ஆலய நுழைவு, இடஒதுக்கீடு இவையெல்லாவற்றையும் பார்ப்பனர்களிடமிருந்து நாமாகப் பிடுங்க முயற்சிக்கக்கூடாது. அவர்களாகப் பார்த்து ‘ஐயோ பாவம் பொழச்சுப் போறான்’ என கொடுத்தால் எண்சாண் உடம்பையும் ஒரு சாணாக்கிக் குறுகி பெற்றுக்கொள்ளலாம்.

தில்லை வாழ் அந்தணர்களிலிருந்து தில்லி ‘எய்ம்ஸ்’ வாழ் அந்தணர்கள் வரை அதைத்தான் சொல்கிறார்கள். சுனாமியால் ஜனங்க செத்துக் கிடக்கையில் ஒருத்தனுக்கு காதல் உணர்வு கிளம்புவது குரூரமில்லையா?

தந்தை மரணப்படுக்கையில் கிடந்தபோது தனயனுக்கு மூடு கிளம்பியதாக மகாத்மா வரலாறு சொல்கிறது. சத்திய சோதனையின் அந்தப் பகுதி கமலை பாடாய் படுத்தியிருக்க வேண்டும். ஹேராமிலிருந்து அவருக்கு எழுச்சியூட்டும் தருணங்களாக இவையே அமைகிறது. தொடர்ந்து இதை இப்படியே விட்டு விடுவது ஆபத்து. மாத்ரூபூதம் செத்து விட்டதால் நாராயண ரெட்டியிடம் போய் கமல் ‘கவுன்சிலிங்’ பெறலாம்.

அடைத்து வைக்கப்பட்டதால் சுனாமியிலிருந்து முசுலீம்கள் தப்பித்தார்களா?

குஜராத்தின் கோத்ரா கலவரத்தில் விரட்டப்பட்ட முசுலீம்கள் இன்னமும் அகதி முகாம்களில்தான் அடைபட்டிருக்கிறார்கள். அடிக்கடி நிலநடுக்கத்தை எதிர்கொள்ளும் அப்பூமியில் முசுலீம்களுக்கு பெருமாளே ஏற்பாடு செய்த பாதுகாப்பு என்கிறார் கமல்.

தேவையில்லாமல் எதுக்குப் பத்து அவதாரங்கள்?

அது, சிவாஜியின் ஒன்பது அவதாரங்களை மிஞ்ச வேண்டும் என்ற சொந்த அரிப்பால் வந்த வினை. ‘கவியரசு’ கண்ணதாசனை பின்னுக்குத் தள்ள, ‘கவிப்பேரரசு’ பட்டம் போட்டுக் கொண்ட வைரமுத்துவின் அரிப்புக்கு ஈடான அரிப்பு இது. “அந்த மேதை எங்கே; நான் எங்கே?” என்று வெளியில் கைகட்டி பவ்யம். உள்ளுக்குள்ளோ அதைத் தாண்டிக் குதிக்க சந்தர்ப்பம் தேடி அலைச்சல். அரிப்பு இருக்கும் அளவுக்கு கொஞ்சம் சரக்கும் இருந்திருந்தால் கமலின் மானம் இப்படி கப்பலேறியிருக்காது.

கிளைமாக்சில் சுனாமி வந்ததற்கு உண்மையான காரணம் என்ன?

“பெருமாளைக் கரையில் கொண்டு சேர்க்க!” - இது அசின் போன்ற அரை லூசு ஆத்திகக் கும்பலுக்கு. “கிருமியைக் கொல்ல” - இது பாராட்டி விழா எடுக்கக் காத்திருக்கும் கி. வீரமணி உள்ளிட்ட பகுத்தறிவுக் கோஷ்டிக்கு. உங்களுக்கு என்ன பிடிக்குமோ, அதை எடுத்துக் கொள்ளலாம். இந்த ரெண்டுகெட்டான் காட்சிக்குப்பின் நமக்கு இன்னொரு கேள்வி எழுகிறது. உலகையே அழிக்கிற கிருமியை கடல் தண்ணீர் அழித்துவிடுமென்றால், அதற்கு சுனாமியை அனுப்பத் தேவையில்லையே! மெரினா பீச்சில் வழக்கமாக வந்து போகும் ஒரு கடல் அலை போதுமே! பெருமாள் அந்தக் காலத்து ஆள். வெவரம் பத்தாம சுனாமியை அனுப்பிட்டாரு. கலைஞானியல்லவா உஷாராயிருந்து அதைத் தடுத்து நிறுத்தியிருக்க வேணும்!

அது சரி, இவ்வளவு கஷ்டப்பட்டு சிலையை கரையில் சேர்த்து என்ன பிரயோஜனம்? பழையபடி சிதம்பரம் கோயிலுக்குள் அதைக் கொண்டு வைப்பது யாராம்? சிதம்பரம் தீட்சிதர்களைக் கேட்டு சீக்கிரம் அதற்கொரு ஏற்பாடு செய்ய வேண்டாமோ! அவசரப்பட்டு அடுத்த சுனாமியை பெருமாள் சாமி அனுப்பிச்சிடப் போறார்.

“கடவுள் இருந்தால் நன்றாக இருக்கும்” என்ற வசனம் கடவுள் இல்லை என்பதைத்தானே சொல்கிறது?

“நீ ஆம்பளைதானே?” என்ற கேள்விக்கு “அப்படி இருந்தால் நன்றாக இருக்கும்” என பதில் சொல்லும் ஜென்மம் எது? கண்டிப்பாக ஆணுமில்லை, பெண்ணுமில்லை; இடைப்பட்ட ஏதோவொண்ணு. “இருக்கிறாரா, இல்லையா?” என்ற கேள்விக்கு ‘இருக்கு’, ‘இல்லை’ என்ற ஒற்றைச் சொல் மட்டுமே பதிலாக இருக்க முடியும். மற்றவையெல்லாம் பகுத்தறிவு முகமூடிக்குப் பின்னால் பதுங்கிக் கிடக்கும் மௌடீகங்களே. “கடவுளே, உனக்குக் கண்ணு அவிஞ்சு போச்சா?” எனப் புலம்பும் பக்தனின் குமுறலில் வெளிப்படுவது கடவுள் மறுப்புதானென்றால் சந்தேகமே வேணாம்... கமலின் வாயிலிருந்து தெறிக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு சொல்லும் பகுத்தறிவுப் பாசறையில் புடம் போட்டவை என்று ஒத்துக் கொள்கிறோம். புகழாரம் இன்னும் கொஞ்சம் நீண்டு “வசனங்களை எழுதியவர் கமலா? பெரியாரா?” என பட்டிமன்றம் நடத்தாத வரைக்கும் நாம் தப்பித்தோம்.

2008-07-19 03:30:00 mgk7@rediffmail.com	யார் யார் எல்லாம் விமர்சனம் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று வெவஸ்தயே இல்லாமல் போய்விட்டது. தனி மனித தாக்குதல்கள் தான் இது. யாராவது chaos theory ஐ இவருக்கு விளக்கி ஏன் சுனாமி வந்தது என்பதை விளக்கினால் நன்றாக இருக்கும். கருத்து சுதந்திரம் என்ற பெயரில் சிலர் பண்ணும் அட்டூழியங்களுக்கு அளவே இல்லாமல் போய் விட்டது.

But a great thinking actor, a director (not KS Ravikumar, but Kamal himself) who knows world cinema, and a rationalist (who always declares this himself) produces a crap, like dasavatharam with a lot of casteist, relegionist and capitalist politics spread carelessly (or may be carefully) must be introspected very minutely and he must answer these questions in the true spirit. Let him not bask in the glory of commercial victory of his irresponsible latest so called 'world cinema in tamil'.

But in these days of wide knowledge and acceptance of transgender community the last para betrayed the reviewer's ignorance on the whole. Today the Tamil media especially has started accepting the transgender community as a part and parcel of the society. It is no more the vulgarised, commicked section. Theesumas d silva should learn lesson atleast on this from Kamal. I dont want to eulogise Kamal. But he is one actor in Tamil scene who is very careful in the scripts about values. You can rarely see in his movies wrong value judgements or passing funny remrks on women, disabled etc. We should remember that he should make movies and succede at box office also. Other wise there is only exit board. With these compulsions one should try to accept him. As for me atleast he is there in Tamil scene. Though he may not appease me always.
