hi..this is a good film in deed...i have worked with the "purisai kannappa thambiran troup" for a documentory..i also konw george when he was in kootthuppattrai...in total this film has moved me..both in the context and the presentation..well made film.
but there are two areas left me little confused...when karna talks in favour of the Rs1.50 tea telling the urinal rates of Rs.2 the expression of the tea shop owner shoud have been in posotive mode..but he is still gives an irritated look??? and then the idly price is Rs.1.50..hearing this he buys a single Vadai..which is sopposed to be more costlier than a plate of idly which can be more filling!!
i loved the link of the boy liking the empty pepsi can and then later finding a toy cellphone ,calling pepsi uma and telling the immortalised (idiotic and vulgar) phrase of every "sun tamilian"!
anyway..this film hase been treated with subtility..which is almost non extintent in tamil culture now!
